National Trust
It is good to give something back to the people and to the environment for all the blessings we receive every single day. To promote love and hope to others, National Trust was established. National trust is a charity organization that aims to preserve the environment, the cultural heritage and the history of the United Kingdom for everyone.
National trust was established in 1895 by three philanthropists namely Miss Octavia Hill, Canon Hardwicke Rawnsley and Sir Robert Hunter. Because of the extensive growth of industrialization and globalization, these three philanthropists are more concerned about the damage that it could bring to the environment. In order to address this, the three philanthropists have established an organization that will act as a guardian and protector of the coastlines, forests, buildings and the countryside.
Here at National Trust, every member wishes to preserve the land, water and air. They want to protect the historical buildings and landscapes of England, Wales and Northern Ireland. They wish to share to the world the glory and beauty of the United Kingdom for generations to come. Furthermore, National Trust wants to instill to each and everyone the value of history, of the environment and how to best preserve and protect what was left to us. Today, National Trust has been receiving financial aids from various companies like revenues from commercial operations, donations, legacies and membership fees. The organization is now preserving 49 industrial monuments and hills as well as 300 historic houses from all over United Kingdom.
